Mindfulness for Busy People
Mindfulness can be achieved in many different ways, within yourself, your routines and your environment. This module looks at each of these.
The second section highlights our role in this environment and looks at how we can address stressors by considering purpose, stress management and self-management techniques.
The final section looks at the role of ritual in achieving mindfulness. This is a particularly rich section full of meaningful opportunities for positive personal change. Three areas are looked at in detail, time-honoured Asian practices for achieving a peaceful mindset, how the Danish strive for serenity and contentment (hygge) in their personal environments and how elite sportspeople can achieve calm under incredibly stressful situations.
In its entirety this module should provide all participants with a myriad of simple and powerful choices towards enjoying a more centred and contented lifestyle.
